We are Gerald Harris and Jenny Aker and we run two shops close together in South Street, South Molton, in North Devon, “Snapdragon Antiques”, and “The Dragon”. We hope you will call to meet up with us soon, and see some more of what we do .

Gerald is Devon born and bred from a farming background.His many local contacts provide a rich and otherwise untapped source of unusual and interesting artefacts from the kitchen and farmyard and he has a working knowledge of agricultural bygones.

We specialise in the restoration and repair of old pine furniture and have a large and constantly changing stock of tables, chairs, cupboards, dressers, chests of drawers and butchers blocks etc.

Our stock includes much sought after Victorian and Edwardian fireplaces and surrounds, slate slabs, fully restored old roll top baths, stone troughs, hand water-pumps, old tools and kitchen ware.

We take commissions from customers to make items from old pine in the traditional style,and can build units for the kitchen, including farmhouse tables, Belfast-sink stands, cupboards and island units.

Most of our stock is sourced locally and Gerald is always keen to buy interesting items of architectural salvage and pine furniture for restoration, so please contact him with queries.
